The 36 bedrooms comprise singles, twins, triples and quad. All rooms are en suite with TV, direct line telephone, tea and coffee facilities. Most have spectacular views of the golf course and sea.
The Dining Room has a sea view and offers a comprehensive menu to suit all tastes.
The James Braid bar is open all day, every day offering bar snacks and a wide range of real ales and lager - an ideal place to relax and enjoy those concentrating on the greens outside.
Weddings, Conferences, Trade Shows, Dinner Dances and other special occasions all take place in the St Andrews Suite and there is ample parking for 100 cars. The Residents Lounge is equipped with satellite TV so that you do not miss out on those favourite sporting events.
Braid's challenge was to transform a unique blend of exposed coastline and lush tree lined parkland into a course that would challenge every hickory shaped club. Like all good seaside course designers Braid made use of the strong easterly wind which can cause even the best players a headache. The wind hits your drive on 5, 10, and 15 from the right and on the 13 and 17 head on. With a strong wind behind you on 11 and 14 it makes club selection a nightmare, these holes made Braid both a genius and a demon. Braid has given many a golfer a lot to shout and laugh about when reaching the club bar. The North Shore Hotel prides itself on good food, good ale and a good laugh. These are 36 bedrooms: Singes, Twins, Triplets and Quad rooms. All are ensuite with TV, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Most bedrooms overlook the course and sea.
Adjacent to the hotel is a well stocked pro shop where the professional and the two assistants are pleased to offer help and assistance.
