The course is a Par 70 (71 for ladies) measuring 5981 yards - the course presents a good test for even the low handicap golfer. There are two Par fives, four Par three's and 12 Par four's, the toughest of which is the dog-leg 434 yard eighth, which requires a long, accurate drive and then a long iron or wood over a bank of trees and a pond to a sloping green, tucked away in the corner.
The course is now over 30 years old and characterised by established native trees and conifers which give definition to each hole. Whilst fairways are mostly shared between the first and second nines, there are 12 greens and 18 separate tees, effectively giving 18 different holes.
