Windermere Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Lake District with spectacular views over Windermere and the surrounding fells. The outlook is considered to match that from any golf course in the UK - and has been referred to as a 'miniature Gleneagles'. A true friendly welcome awaits you at Windermere Golf Club - a very popular venue for either social or competitive golf. Established in 1891 the club caters for the casual visitor, golf societies and the corporate market. Finding the golf club is easy - and once you say "good bye" to the motorway system, at Junction 36 on the M6, you enter the idyllic setting of the Lake District.
