» The Golf Grip | How to Grip the Golf Club

Getting the golf grip right can help improve your consistancy and your swing. There are a number of ways to hold the golf club depending on if you have long or short fingers or perhaps someone just starting out in golf.

We have a look here at the 3 main types, the overlap finger grip, the interlocking finger grip and the 10 finger baseball golf grip. The overlap and the interlocking grip are the most common but the last 10 finger baseball style grip is ideal of new juniors and/or ladies new to the game.

Golf Grip - Interlocking Finger Grip
» Interlocking Golf Grip

With the little finger interlocking with the index finger, this grip is perhaps the most common for players with smaller fingures or smaller hands.

The baseball style grip is ideal for children or ladies fairly new to the game as it gives a sense of control.
