About the Club

Established in 1993 Pyrford Golf Club is a modern proprietary operated member club which boasts a course of outstanding natural beauty combined with a friendly and relaxed clubhouse atmosphere.

The club has a thriving membership although visitors are welcome, either for a casual game or through society and corporate events.

The course, designed by former Ryder Cup players Peter Allis and Clive Clarke, winds its way around ancient woodland and the 2 loops of nine holes are renowned for their lakes which come into play on many holes.  Extensive drainage ensures the course is playable even during the wettest winter months and with gentle undulations the course is suitable for golfers of all ages.

Situated in the tranquil heart of the Surrey countryside, Pyrford is still in easy access of the A3, M25 and M3.

The location provides an accessible escape from the hustle and bustle of city life as we are only 35 minutes drive from central London.  It is the perfect place for players of all abilities to enjoy their golf.

Courses & Scorecards

Pyrford Golf Club

No one could accuse Pyrford of being just another golf club. Former Ryder Cup players, Peter Allis and Clive Clarke have created a golf course of the highest standards that carries their inimitable hallmark of testing the very best players but affording the club golfer a great deal of enjoyment too.

Pyrford is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. Ringed by magnificent woodland the fairways weave between sculptured mounds and the 23 acres of lakes, fringed with bulrushes, reeds and lilies, give the course its distinctive and unique characteristic with water ever present.

The 6,230 yard course is separated into 2 loops providing a choice of starting positions. Every hole is different and whilst the course may not be the longest by todays modern designs a good score will require careful strategy and use of every club in your bag. The best players may well be tempted to take on the challenge of longer carries yet the design gives the less experienced player a safer and more productive route.

Different combinations of tee positions provide a challenge for players of all abilities and the unique design ensures no two rounds are the same.
