Built through a Pine forest on superbly draining sandy soil the course is one of the most picturesque in the South of England. It is undulating enough to provide a challenge but not too hilly to make walking round a problem. Pine ridge is the type of course one never gets tired of playing.
For a public course, this has got be one of the best in the local area. It offers golfers of all abilities a really enjoyable experience and provides a challenge like few others can.
The pine trees that help shape every hole offer their own challenge. You will rarely lose your golf ball, but finding it may not always be a blessing.
Enjoyed playing this last weekend. Course was dry and the extra length compared to most UK courses means you can dabble with the driver and fairway on a number of holes.

Fairways and greens are in great shape at the moment. Quite forgiving as a course as offline tee shots generally can be found in the trees. Having said that, pin positions can make scoring quite tough.
