About the Club

PARLEY GOLF CLUB A Fun club originally constructed and designed as a 6 Hole course in the late 80s and a further 3 Holes added in 1994 enabled an affiliation status. Pay and Play club, with no tee times required, club members have a choice of method of payment, fully inclusive fees, membership fee plus reduced playing fee, or simply pay per round.

The course undergoes regular maintenance projects and is constantly improving, the commitment and dedication of our green staff, continues to offer well maintained greens and fairways, and the condition is superb.

The course itself is an easy walking nine hole layout with 18 tee positions adding a varied dimension to your game on each nine holes, and requires more course management than is at first apparent. Not unduly long, but to score you had better find the fairways. After a comfortable start over the first three holes, you cross the road to a tricky short par 3, bunkered and with a water hazard. Then the signature hole the 5th, double dogleg par 5 with the river right and ditches near the green. A good drive is a must and a five is something to celebrate. Back to the older holes, par 4s that need accuracy rather than length, all in all an enjoyable test. Great for the short game.

All newcomers & visitors are welcome, and the course is ideal for those of more advanced in years or who have difficulty managing tougher walking courses. Some of the members are well into their 80s and still enjoy the game.
