About the Club
At New Forest, Architect, Peter McEvoy, has crafted a truly spectacular course that he describes as "...the best course I have yet designed."
The undulating, natural forested surroundings bring an outstanding quality to the course, with some of the finest putting surfaces, tees and fairways in the region.
The golf course, opened in August 2006, is set on an impressive country estate featuring gently rolling terrain, bounded by mature woodlands and you would be forgiven if you thought this masterpiece was a golf course for hundreds of years. New forest is a golf course of the highest quality which is sure to become a major championship venue. Among the many interesting feature holes is the unique par 3 ninth hole, set entirely within a walled garden.
New Forest is set to take its place amongst the great Irish parkland courses. This magnificent course is without doubt the greatest course in the Irish midlands. We invite you to experience a golf course that is both a joy to the eye and a pleasure to experience.
