About the Club

Founded in 1882, Minehead and West Somerset is the second oldest club in Somerset.  Whilst preserving the best traditions of the sport, we have a progressive outlook and take pride in both maintaining and developing our magnificent course.  There is always a warm and friendly welcome to individual golfers, societies, corporate groups and visitors.

The course provides a great challenge for golfers of all ages and levels of experience.  We also offer a friendly, comfortable clubhouse where you can enjoy great hospitality. You can relax with a drink in the bar and select from a range of tasty snacks. There is also an extensive menu available in the dining room.

Societies and organisations will find our attention to detail, flexibility and top-value golf packages of particular interest.  There is a fully-stocked Pro-Shop, with something for everyone- and you can develop your game with a course of golf lessons from our PGA qualified professional.

Directions

Within easy walking distance of Minehead town centre and the Butlins facility, we are set in beautiful contryside - with a magnificent view to the North across the Bristol channel and towards South Wales. To the South , there are sweeping views of the Brendon Hills and Exmoor National Park.

From the North and East: Take the M5 to Bridgwater, then the A39 to Minehead. Follow the signs to Minehead sea front. You should then travel east along the esplanade. The golf club is to be found along this road at the end.

From the South and West: Take M5 to Taunton and then the A358 to Minehead. Proceed as above
