Eaton Golf Club, founded in 1910, is situated and signposted just off the A11 Newmarket Road, Norwich. Such is the beauty and tranquility of Eaton Golf Course that it is difficult to believe you are less than 2 miles from the centre of that fine city, Norwich.
Eaton “a members club” has been described in the golfing press as “the hidden gem” and “a golfing oasis”. To those regular golfers in East Anglia it is well known as one of the finest 18 hole courses in the region. It requires little effort to discover our lovely course as it is so accessible.
We host many prestigious regional and county championship competitions. It is golf at it's best.
At Eaton you will always receive a warm welcome. Enjoy a drink and a meal and savour the panoramic views over the 1st, 10th and 18th fairways. Look back over your round with pleasure at being able to play in such stimulating surroundings even if you could not quite beat the challenge of our splendid course.
Eaton is one of the finest inland courses in the county. Designed in part by the four times open champion JH Taylor, the course offers a challenging 18-hole test to golfers of all abilities and standards.
At 6118 yards and par 70, Eaton is a relatively short course. The biggest requirement is accuracy as any shots off line will be punished severely. The mature trees and undulating fairways make it an extremely picturesque golf course to play.
