Located just eight miles south west of Dublin City Centre, Dublin City Golf Club is set in the beautiful valley of Glen Na Smól (The valley of the thrush) overlooking the lakes and the river Dodder. The course takes full advantage of this location and the views change at every turn.
The Course was originally designed by the late Eddie Hackett, well known Irish golf architect, responsible for designing more golf courses in Ireland than any other, with redesign work by Frank Clarke, a well known and accomplished golfer and artist. The course would be described as parkland and the layout has been dictated by the terrain.
