Downpatrick Golf Club

About the Club

Downpatrick Golf Club is a classic parkland course, designed by Mr F. W. Hawtree, in 1930. Situated 1 mile from the town centre, off the Saul Road. The course comprises of five Par 3's, eleven Par 4's and two Par 5's, most holes boasting spectaular views of Co. Down, the Mountains of Mourne, Strangford Lough and even the Isle of Man, on a clear day.

Created amongst the rolling Drumlin hills, the course with its undulating fairways, strategically placed sand traps and quick, but true greens make the course a testing, yet pleasurable challenge to golfers of all abilities.
