De Hoge Dijk is an 18 hole competition course (PAR 71) with A-status, designed by the famous golf architect Joan Dudok van Heel. The first nine holes came into use in 1990, the second nine holes have been played on since 1995.
There was much enthusiasm for the opening of the 9 holes practice course, the Abcoude course, in the spring of 2002. This par 3-4 course (PAR 31) was designed by Gerard Jol.
The attractive view of the church towers of Abcoude gives the course a rural atmosphere. In addition to this, water features play an important part in the course. The courses can be used in summer and winter until sunset. The golf course is under management of the foundation De Hoge Dijk Public Golf Grounds
The 18 holes course is open for every golfer, provided they are in possession of a valid golf proficiency certificate (PC). The Abcoude course is accessible not only to PC holders but also to golfers who can show a course permit issued by a golf professional. The green fee for the various courses can be found on the price list page.
