Golf de Chantilly is situated within 30 miles of Paris in the Ile de France region. Without a doubt, its one of the best places to play golf in France. Set in woodland, with an almost British feel to the clubhouse, Chantilly was founded in 1903 and has since hosted the French Open on numerous occasions.
The Vineuil Course is currently ranked the 4th Best Golf Course in France and 20th in mainland Europe (Mulligan+ Golf Course Rankings 2010). The courses offers a fantastic golfing test. Designed by Tom Simpson, the English architect, the layout test every area of your game with numerous bunkers that penalise scores at every opportunity.
The second course, Longeres, is also a great golfing challenge and not to be missed.
With so much to see nearby, its a great place for non-golfers as well.
