Founded in 1894, Ballinasloe is one of Connachts oldest golf clubs. A mature and testing parkland course playable all year round, Ballinasloe offers a challenging variety of superb holes and it is noted for its excellent greens and dog-legs

Follow signs for Dublin N6 through Craughwell, Loughrea, Aughrim.
5 miles after Aughrim take right turn on R355 (signposted Portumna). Junction is opposite Garbally College as you enter the town.
Continue for 3 miles and then take a left turn into golf club - immediately before the rugby club.

At junction with R355, turn right (signposted Ballinasloe)
Continue on R355 to Laurencetown (11.5 miles from Portumna)
0.5 miles after Laurencetown, turn left at crossroads and continue on R355
5 miles after crossroads turn right to enter the golf club, just after passing the rugby club

Follow N6 from Kinnegad through Moate and Athlone to Ballinasloe. On approaching Ballinasloe follow N6 signs to Galway bypassing town centre.
Continue past Portiuncla Hospital on the right and take a left turn on R355 (signposted Portumna). Junction is opposite Garbally College as you leave the town.
