Set in 140 acres in one of the most beautiful areas of Gwent, Woodlake Park overlooks the spectacular Llandegfedd reservoir, the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and the Vale of Usk. The championship standard course has a par of 71 and standard scratch of 72.

Opened in 1993, the course has matured quickly and  the quality of both fairways and greens make this one of the finest inland golf courses in Wales. The greens, including the practice greens, were all constructed to the U.S.Golf Association specifications and are truly one of the major assets of the course.

The Clubhouse has two large balconies overlooking the 18th green and provides an outstanding view of the reservoir to the south west. The Spikes bar has direct access to the lower terrace and the practice putting green.   The upstairs function room has a catering capacity of 130 and has its own private balcony and toilet facilities. First class changing and showering facilities are provided for both sexes. A games room is situated adjacent to the Spikes bar and includes a full size snooker table.
