Constructed by Southern Golf, world renown contractors and builders of Wisley, The Oxfordshire and other first class courses. Tommy said of his approach when designing Windlesham: " a course that excites and tests all standards of golfer. The gentle slopes and streams form the main difficulties for all players. I was fortunate to have a site that is a golf architects dream. Every aspect needed for a magnificent course was available naturally. I believe I have designed a course that will be acclaimed as one of the best in the country. " Set amidst the beautiful Surrey countryside Windlesham Golf Club was officially opened in August 1994. With a par of 72 and measuring 6,650 yards from the competition tees, it is neither a "long slog or short" In addition to the outstanding clubhouse, the club also offers full practice facilities together its own Golf Teaching School and one of the best stocked pro shops in the South of England.
