The Mulligan+ Club Guide for Turton Golf Club
Turton Golf Club (Unmanaged)

One of the North Wests premier 18 hole golf courses, Turton Golf Club combines both moorland and parkland to provide a magnificent true test of golf such as that seen when the 2003 BGA finals were hosted here. Play the course then enjoy a relaxing drink or bite to eat in our fully equipped clubhouse. Full buggy service is available from the Pro shop as well as an extensive range of golfing items, practise areas and services.

Golfing Societies and other parties are most welcome, you will find our range of packages and rates acceptable and accomodating, golfing days can also be booked either via the General Manager or Club Secretary, the Steward or the Professional. The clubhouse offers excellent hospitality, fine wine and beers as well as bar snacks and meals, and a warm welcome to all. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this wonderful course and all its facilities, truely a rewarding experience. The Club is situated close to the famous Last Drop Village in Bromley Cross, Bolton and is close to major motorway links to all areas. The course is normally open all year round, weather permitting, please check before playing during the winter months.

About the Club

Turton Golf Club, a full 18 hole course, is an interesting and challenging mixture of moorland and parkland holes with breathtaking views across 5 counties. The course layout is very fair, but can also be demanding depending on the prevailing wind direction. The views are simply stunning and need to be viewed to be really appreciated.

A full time General Manager is on site to welcome guests as well as answer any of your questions or queries. Visitors to the course will also receive a very warm welcome from our resident PGA Professional, Andrew Green and golf adviser Mark Gregory and our Club Steward and Stewardess Bob & Margaret Coleman who are on hand to provide bar and dining facilities throughout the season.
