Sittingbourne & Milton Regis Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Garden of England and was founded in 1929. Since then the course has changed greatly over the years. The latest development, bought about by the Chairman of the Association of Golf Course Architects, Mr Donald Steel. Whilst using natural contours of the land he has introduced many subtle features which enhance the beauty of the countryside. The clubhouse has also undergone changes over the years. Originally a cricket pavillion, the latest redevelopment and modernisation started in 1992 and incorporates major changes. The new building poses an impressive sight from almost all parts of the course and the club now offers an excellent test of golf for all standards of players. The club is also proud of the golfing achievements of its members of all age categories at County and National level. We have produced individual County Champions, Team County Champions, National Team Champions, Club County representatives as well as some of our juniors going on to the professional ranks. |
