Founded in 1977 by Lord and Lady Moyola and opened by Seve Ballesteros, Moyola Park Golf Club is set in the beautiful wooded parkland of Shanemullagh, a Georgian House occupying 130 acres. A golf designer's dream, it has been transformed into the present course by well-known Ulster golfer Don Patterson and Landscape Architect Alan Smith, who have succeeded in blending the layout of the course with the rural parkland location. The friendly atmosphere caters for all the needs of today's golfer, ranging from the challenging 18 hole par 71 golf course to the provision of restaurant, conference and a wealth of nearby accommodation facilities. Visitors are made very welcome to the club. Bookings may be made on weekdays and on Sundays after 1.30 pm but pre-booking is always advisable. |
