By using the well-proven construction principals recommended by the English Golf Union and incorporating a good drainage and irrigation system, the course is playable most days of the year. The course was designed to provide interesting and varied levels of challenge to give a fair game of golf to established players but not to be intimidating to enthusiastic beginners.

The Club which is affiliated to the English Golf Union & the English Ladies Golf Association operates on a Pay as you Play basis with an Associate Membership and a limited number of Full Members.

Associate members have a reduced Green Fee, 15 days priority booking and can play for Handicaps. Full members of course, pay no green fees and have up to 15 days priority booking. All Members have equal status in the Club including Ladies & Juniors and most Club Competitions are open to all members.
