The club is located just outside Guildford in tranquil countryside, and is 10 minutes from the A3, convenient for London and the M25. In just five years the Club has entertained many Golfing Societies and Corporate Golfing Events. Merrist Wood was chosen as the host venue to launch the Senior Professional Golf Tour in the UK.

Our international visitors also enjoy the ancient traditions and etiquette of Golf upheld by the Club. The course is laid out in nearly 250 acres, keeping the holes well spaced so that even on a busy day it can feel like you are out there on your own.

Our high quality greens are constructed and maintained to USGA specification. The course designer, David Williams, has created a golf course that will reward golfers of all standards.

Directions

From M25

Come off at Junction 10 and head towards Guildford. Follow the sign for the town centre and then follow those for the A323 to Aldershot and proceed as per the directions from Guildford.

From Guildford

Follow the signs for the A323 to Aldershot and about 3 miles out of Guildford you will reach a roundabout with black and white chevrons on it. Turn right into Holly Lane and we are on the left about 100 yards from the roundabout.

From M3

Come off at Junction 3 for Lightwater and head towards Guildford. Stay on this road for about 7 miles until you reach the roundabout on the Guildford side of Worplesdon village. Turn right towards Aldershot into Holly Lane and we are on the right after about 800 yards.

From Aldershot

Follow the A323 towards Guildford until you reach the roundabout with the black and white chevrons on it. Turn left into Holly Lane and we are on the left about 100 yards from the roundabout.
