Course Review
The Merion East Course is a Championship Golf Course designed by Hugh Wilson, and its hosted the USGA Championship more times than any other course in America.
As a club, its been proud
to witness some of the best golf has to offer including the Grand Slam in 1930 by Robert Tyre Jones, Ben Hogan's one iron on the 72nd hole during the 1950's US Open.
The beautiful greens, fairways, and treacherous bunkers of Merion have shaped the game.
The Merion is also scheduled to host the 2013 U.S. Open.
