The upstairs lounge, known as 'The Greenwood Bar', is the main gathering place for the members and visitors before and after their round of golf. It offers a large spacious area
with extensive views of the Ribble Valley and the 1st, 2nd, 17th and 18th holes

The bar area is also a games room with a full size snooker table, dart board, bull ring, quoits and a dominoes and card
table. These games, plus indoor putting, are incorporated into games nights (Lads Night) and are held on Thursday nights throughout the winter.

As well as being the games room the upstairs lounge contains the competition boards and the Past Captain's photographs. A full list of the Past Captain's can be found here . The opposite side of the bar contains the Past Lady Captain's photographs and ladies and mixed competition boards. This area also houses the trophy cabinet.

Exit M6 motorway at Junction 31a. At roundabout turn left onto B6242/B6243 for Longridge. At next roundabout turn right on to B6242/B6243 for Longridge. Next roundabout turn left onto the B6243 for Longridge. Drive through Grimsargh. At roundabout in front of Old Oak (pub) go left onto B6244. At the next roundabout (Stonebridge) turn right, follow this road until you reach the White Bull, turn left here (signposted Jeffrey Hill). Approx ﾽ mile on take left hand fork signposted Golf Club this is Forty Acre Lane. Follow this road for approximately 1ﾽ miles until you reach the Golf Club, situated on the right hand side.

From the North

Exit M6 motorway at Junc. 32 (this is also the exit for M55 to Blackpool.) Follow signs for A6 GARSTANG. Approx. 1/4 mile after the exit roundabout, turn right at major set of traffic lights (the Bay Tree pub on left hand corner). You are now on the B5269 to Longridge. Follow the main road until you reach the roundabout (Stonebridge) in Longridge. Go straight across, up the hill, bear left (still on the main road). At White Bull turn left (signposted Jeffrey Hill). Approx ﾽ mile on take left hand fork signposted Golf Club this is Forty Acre Lane. Follow this road for approximately 1ﾽ miles until you reach the Golf Club, situated on the right hand side.
