The Mulligan+ Club Guide for Kilworth Springs Golf Club
Kilworth Springs Golf Club (Unmanaged)
Would you be interested in a golf break or holiday?

Established in 1993, Kilworth Springs Golf Club overlooks the beautiful Avon Valley in South Leicestershire.  The championship course measures 6718 yards, par 72.  Kilworth Springs is a superbly sculptured links style course offering all the best features and facilities for a great days golf

The greens are built to USGA construction standards.  The front nine offers a traditional links challenge, whilst the back nine, with its numerous lakes, adds water to the equation

With wide fairways and the addition of thick rough and gorse between holes, the course offers a true challenge to professionals and amateurs alike, whilst retaining it's playability for the society golfer

Kilworth Springs welcomes visitors and societies on a pay and play basis and also provides the ideal venue for corporate golf tournaments.  Our highly trained, professional team can cater for small or large parties to suit your requirements and are confident that you will enjoy the Kilworth Springs experience

Kilworth Springs boasts extensive game improvement  facilities, including a unique sunken driving range and short game areas for putting, chipping and bunker shots.

Kilworth Springs was built in 1993, but despite its youth the course has matured quickly and is now widely regarded as one of the Midlands premier courses.

The course is situated in rural Leicestershire and offers extensive uninterrupted views of beautiful rolling countryside.  Kilworth Springs is also one of the best drained courses in a hundred miles of the area due to it being on an oasis of sand and shale, giving the course a superb quality of turf too.

The testing design by renowned local designer Ray Baldwin sets an excellent test for both high and low handicappers alike.  The front nine is an inland links design with intelligent bunkering, large greens and generous running fairways.  The back nine is blessed with cleverly laid out water hazards and is known as the lake nine, and sets a slightly different test to the front nine.  The two signature holes one on each nine are curiously both par threes, but offering very different tests.

The 6th hole at 153 yards is unusually situated in a quarry like surround.  With the elevated tee offering great views of the countryside you might be excused for perhaps taking your eye off the ball!

The 18th hole at 204 yards offers a tough challenge to finish your round.  With an elevated green as well as a large lake to negotiate this beautiful par three is one of the toughest holes on the course.

Certainly Roger and Ann Vicary, the proprietors of Kilworth Springs, hope that your experience is one which will bring you back time and again to enjoy the delights of an interesting and challenging test of golf.
