The Bells Hotel in the Forest of Dean, the Golf Club and the Bells Club House make up the largest leisure complex in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley tourist area. The Bells Hotel and Bells Club House are members of Forest of Dean Leisure Incorporated. Our leisure complex is a place to relax and unwind, visit the extensive areas of outstanding natural beauty or simply play golf. We also offer fantastic home-cooked food and in regular in-house entertainment in the warm and friendly atmosphere of the Bells Club House. The Bells Hotel and the Club House are set in the beautiful Forest of Dean, close to the Wye Valley tourist area. Less than a mile away we have access to our sister golf club Forest Hills which Bell's hotel guests can enjoy full access to the course and facilities. Forest Hills Golf Course is a superb parkland course with panoramic views, excellent greens and challenging holes. Forest Hills boast a course with some of the best drainage of any course in the West of England and Wales. With its excellent clubhouse facilities Forest Hills is an excellent golfing venue whether you are a visitor, society or member. |

| From the South West Leave the M5 North at Junction 15 for the M4 West signposted South Wales Leave M4 at NEW Junction 21 - signposted M48 Chepstow to take you over OLD Severn Bridge Immediately after crossing the bridge leave the M48 at Junction 2 signposted Chepstow At roundabout take 2nd turning off to Chepstow - A48 At roundabout take last turning off - staying on the A48 Go over bridge and after 1/4 mile take sharp turning left - signposted Tutshill and Forest of Dean At mini roundabout - turn right - signposted Coleford B4228 Follow this road for approximately 12 miles to Coleford At traffic lights on edge of Coleford - go straight over Pass Industrial estate and Q8 Garage on your right (You will be able to see the hotel and golf course to your right) Take next turning right signposted to Coalway and Parkend. Keep in the Left hand lane At next roundabout take 1st turning off signposted GLOUCESTER At next roundabout (approx ᄒ mile) turn right signposted INDUSTRIAL ESTATE Follow this road towards Ross Centre. After Pedestrian Crossing take 1st turning left onto the B4234 towards Walford Follow this road through Walford, Lower Lydbrook and English Bicknor to Christchurch At Pike House Cross-roads go straight over towards Coleford At T-Junction turn left for town centre onto the B4228 Stay on this road (which becomes Bank Street) to the traffic lights at the 'Kings Head' At Traffic Lights go straight over onto Lords Hill - signposted Lydney & Chepstow About 200yds up hill take left turning, signposted Coalway & Parkend. This is still Lords Hill 1/4 mile up Lords Hiil the entrance to Bells Hotel is on your right From Gloucester: At Gloucester follow the Brown Tourist signs for Forest of Dean, Ross, & Chepstow. These will take you onto the A40 Stay in left hand lane on dual carriageway driving past the Dog Inn at Over (On your right). At next roundabout turn left onto the A48 signposted Forest of Dean & Chepstow. Drive through Minsterworth and Westbury on Severn. At T-Junction at Elton Corner (Esso Garage on junction) turn right for Forest of Dean & Cinderford- A4151. Drive through Littledean and at top of steep hill turn left onto the B4226 - signposted Coleford. Drive through the Forest and for approximately 4 miles to Coleford. At T Junction turn left for town centre. At traffic lights turn left into Lords Hill - signposted Lydney & Chepstow. About 200yds up hill take left turning signposted Coalway & Parkend. This is still Lords Hill. 1/4 mile up Lords Hiil the entrance to Bells Hotel is on your right. From South Wales: M4 East past Newport Leave the M4 at Junction 24 signposted A449 Monmouth. Keep in the left hand lane Take the 1st turning off the roundabout onto the dual carriageway to Monmouth. Go through tunnel at Monmouth and straight over traffic lights. There is no right turn at the traffic lights at the Monmouth Bridge so you have to go straight on for 1/4 mile to the roundabout and take the last turning off - returning to the traffic lights from the North turn left at lights and go over Monnow Bridge Just after crossing bridge bear left towards Coleford Stay on this road for approximately 5 miles driving through Staunton towards Coleford Approximately 1mile after Staunton turn right at the traffic lights signposted Coleford Stay on this road (which becomes Bank Street) to the traffic lights at the 'Kings Head' At Traffic Lights go straight over onto Lords Hill - signposted Lydney & Chepstow About 200yds up hill take left turning signposted Coalway & Parkend. This is still Lords Hill 1/4 mile up Lords Hiil the entrance to Bells Hotel is on your right |
