Folke Golf Centre is a family run organisation which started in May 1990. Originally it started with the driving range and then grew to accommodate the course opening in 1991, the clubhouse shop and changing facilities, completed in 1992. The course has then maintained its structure welcoming new obstacles including additional bunkers, trees and more recently a redesign of three holes (opened August 2006). The clubhouse has also been extensively redesigned and extended, including an upgrade to catering, dining and changing room facilities, due for completion April 2007.
