Founded in 1931 this warm and friendly club perched high on the cliff tops overlooking the North Sea is the ideal place to enjoy your golf. Recently extended the course is now a 6189 yards par 71 test for any level of golfer to enjoy.

The cliffs which drop steeply from the boundaries of the course are home to a large variety of sea birds, including the colourful and comical puffin. The lucky visitor may also see seals basking in the sea below the cliffs.

Apart from the breath-taking sea views and passing fishing boats, golfers are often treated to spectacular air displays by Tornado jets using the coastline for training purposes.

For those with a sense of history the oldest surviving lighthouse in England, built in 1674, stands within the course at the back of the 4th green and to the side of the 5th tee. Also the course overlooks the site of the famous Battle of Flamborough Head, fought on the night of September 23rd 1779, in which the American John Paul Jones in his ship the Bonhomme Richard defeated the British man-of-war Serapis and part of the course stands on the site of the farmhouse where he is reputed to have spent the night, a fact which is reflected in the name of the 13th hole.
