Cottesmore is a 36-hole golf club set in 247 acres of rolling tree edged Sussex country side. Established in 1975 by the Rogerson Family it continues to enjoy more than 30 years as a prime golfing venue. The site was originally farm buildings in the grounds of Cottesmore School, previously a private house built in 1884 by a diamond farming French man. The house can be seen from parts of the course and poses a commanding back drop to some holes. Situated in Pease Pottage in the beautiful Sussex countryside the course provides a great location for a relaxing game of golf in tranquil surroundings with several mature trees and water that comes into play on several holes. The course is only 1 mile from the M23 and just 15 minutes from Gatwick Airport making it a great meeting point for friends and family from around the country, if not beyond. |
