Castlebar Golf Club was founded in 1910 and the course was designed and built in its current layout by Peter McEvoy and his team. It opened in 2001. The Course has been built to USGA specifications, measuring 6,500 yards, Par 71, with sand based greens and many water features. Visitors are welcome, individually or in groups and special arrangements can be made for Societies re catering, transport and accomodation.
